1- Returns Policy
We summarise our Returns Policy below. While always ready to be sympathetic in exceptional circumstances, we shall only accept returns which are made in accordance with these provisions:
A) GENERAL RETURNS POLICY
All books are sold firm unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
B) IMPERFECT COPIES
Where damaged or imperfect copies have been supplied, we will accept title pages only of the books in question PROVIDED THAT telephonic
authorisation for the return is obtained before dispatch and this is quoted in the envelope returning the pages to our London office (address and phone number below).
(PLEASE NOTE: There are many blank pages in THE BOOK OF THE BOOK. These are there by intention!)
C) OCTAGON ERRORS
All books wrongly supplied through servicing errors should be returned to our warehouse as soon as possible, well packed and in their original packaging
if possible. At the same time, a telephone call to our office (020 7193 6456) will ensure that the books are replaced or your account credited as quickly as
possible.The Octagon invoice number and the date of your order must be quoted.
D) BOOKSELLERS OVERSTOCKS
We will accept AUTHORISED returns and credit them at the discount rate applicable, PROVIDED that:
1) the books are received, postage paid, IN PERFECT CONDITION AND WITH NO ADDITIONAL MARKINGS;
2) the books are accompanied by an official returns note listing the titles and numbers returned with evidence that prior authorisation for the return has been obtained,
quoting the date and name of the Octagon representative giving authorisation;
3) the Octagon invoice number under which each of the books returned was supplied is quoted on the official returns note.
Purchasers should note that returns made without authority will be sent back to the sender and Octagon Press does not accept responsibility for the condition of such books or for their safe return.
2- Privacy

Information supplied to us when you order on-line comes to us in encrypted form using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption which is the industry standard and which is guaranteed by

Our shopping basket system uses session cookies as identifiers to facilitate the ordering process. They are not used for any other purpose or by anyone other than Octagon Press. They are temporary and only remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the site.
