Shah Waliullah of Delhi

A GREAT RELIGIOUS teacher of the 17th century, Shah Waliullah of Delhi distinguished himself as a major thinker from the age of fifteen. He returned to the essentials of Sufi experience in order to show that essentially Sufism is one discipline. Shah Waliullah is considered to be the bridge between the medieval and the modern in Islamic thought.
